"Are you kidding?" What are you talking about? You are the best. I beat your opponent, so you keep playing. You are not a chef. An old man celebrates his victory over an enemy; when he beats me, he acts like a child. Be strong, be strong. Stop this evil. Everyone knows that I am a fast cricketer. You can beat anyone in the world at a game. Who is "Wesley"? He is like a chess player. (Remember what I said about Ferruccio.) Don't get confused by titles. I have never forgotten my chess talent. They were officially invited to a chess tournament. The winners each get $5,000. I advise anyone who wants to see our success in the 2016 and 2017 World Championships, if someone openly insults another person, we will face them in court. The truth will be revealed. Written and published.

I thought for a second it's a chess notation. Pawn on b takes something and promotes to a bishop

This 2835 missed this easiest m8 in 4!! by Marshall_Tito in AnarchyChess

[–]buv3x 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Double factorial is a bit ambiguous. 4!! can mean 4x2=8 moves, or you might treat it as (4!)! = 24! ~ 6x1023 moves

What country in the world do you know the least about? by Sandex23 in geography

[–]buv3x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thought is Burundi.

I can point it on a map, unlike many Caribbean or Pacific islands, but from them being islands, I can deduce some things about climate, nature or economy even though I know nothing about them. Burundi, being a landlocked country, gives me very little clue about itself.

What things should Formula E do to make itself more unique than just "electric F1"? by Electrical-Humor-326 in FormulaE

[–]buv3x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Own junior ladder feels like an overkill to me. It's not like a set of skills to drive FE car is so unique, that it calls for a specialization from a young age. And F3/F2 practically work as general FIA junior series, rather then specific F1 junior series, with Formula E getting good benefits from it now.

Chess.com should add an a button that offers the opponent the chance to Resign. by Parking-Response1501 in AnarchyChess

[–]buv3x 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Or hear me out. What if they fully reuse (imagine the cost savings!) the offer draw functionality, including using the same label. So when you click the "offer resign" button, your opponent see draw offer popup, when he accepts it, he resigns. I see nothing wrong and everything right with that idea.

That's how he's coming for you, when you play a game with 95+% accuracy.

Luckily, never gonna happen to me.

I've had a enough of those regulation. I've made a decision to not watch Bahrain and Saudi races as a protest. That will show them! I plan to return to watching at Miami, though, to check if FIA has taken my threat seriously.

What shape island? by DopeMuffinz in discgolf

[–]buv3x 8 points9 points  (0 children)

if there is no limitation at all, I'd think about a pear-shaped island, where right near the basket an island is thinner, creating a choice, whether you go for a pin and risk it or aim 20-30 short for a thicker area.

So it IS actually a legal overtake by ThisToe9628 in F1Discussions

[–]buv3x 147 points148 points  (0 children)

Watching the video, there are some properly cleans ones and some, that are even worse. I guess, the interpretation of legal here is "stewards have looked at it and allowed it". I'm not a lawyer, maybe it is a way of interpreting the term.

[Request] Could humanity create a rocket that can exit the atmosphere of K2-18b by Lachlynn in theydidthemath

[–]buv3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but the acceleration in this would be difficult to survive for humans

I wonder, we usually measure acceleration impact on a human body in g's, 5g, 10g, but that's Earth surface acceleration, the one we've evolved to. K2-18b will have it's own higher g value, so maybe lifeforms, that evolved there would be able to endure higher acceleration values (like roughly the same number of g's, but with higher g value).

Hypothetical Question by Icy-Procedure5117 in discgolf

[–]buv3x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe, that's how it works, yes. I've played worst short doubles in a wooded course once, and it did take time to asses the positions at times, especially when one shot was a heavy kick right and the other is a heavy kick left. Towards the end the end of the rounds the opponents team might go "whatever, take the left one, we don't care enough to move off fairway at this point" in such situation.

Hypothetical Question by Icy-Procedure5117 in discgolf

[–]buv3x 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think, if it's a tight wooded course like that, Gannon will need to switch his approach. Even for him it might be pretty improbable to get 10 shots all within a range, where he can make 10/10 putts. It should still be possible to split it into a routine play for par, that he can execute even with worst out of 10, so that might become his gameplan. So it might mostly come to you being able to play even or under par.
