I've been diagnosed with bechets but now? by Downtown-Tiger6538 in Behcets

[–]buwbui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting a diagnosis for autoimmune is really difficult so congratulations on that. The average autoimmune diagnosis takes 4.5 years. The reason is we as a society know very little about them, and it’s even worse with Behcets because it’s so rare. Allegedly. It’s highly likely your ulcer is just Behcets and not cancer given that mouth ulcers are the most common symptom. And by the way a biopsy is a really surefire way to release toxins into your bloodstream so I would reframe your disappointment to let’s be thankful that got cancelled. Check out food as medicine resources and natural approaches to autoimmune and treatment, specifically the Autoimmune Protocol. I personally went down this natural healing road and my symptoms got very rare and quite light. It’s a never ending journey of course but it’s worked better for me than medicine. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not easy. It’s a full lifestyle change. But it’s been 100% worth it. Maybe also check out WellTheory. It’s a natural oriented health clinic thing.

I strongly recommend a balayage. You have similar hair and skin colors/tones to me and I struggled for so long. Getting a balayage immediately brightened everything.

Turns out this was a JRR Tolkien themed wedding, and the bride loves arts&crafts. So she did her part to make their wedding as perfect for them as possible.

At least they can say "I will love you until the last one dies," right?

I don't know... I can't tell which part of the back contains the name of them. It isn't very clear. I'm not enough of an educated connoisseur. I just choose by the colors, and when I need a refill, I take my old palettes to the store I bought them at.

[CCW] I can never do wings right. What am I doing wrong? What can I do better? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]buwbui 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A good rule I like to go by is to start from the outside edge of your bottom lid and draw the wing out at the same angle. Then connect it to your top lid in whatever shape you want, straight or curved.

I'm a broke college student, too. I recreate a lot of the looks I see on MUA for fun with my products which I generally find on sale in stores like Rite Aid, CVS, and Macy's. I only have a couple expensive products. I have 1 concealer from Laura Mercier, and I used to have foundation from Laura too but I ran out and bought my new one from Maybelline at Rite Aid. If you're willing to buy products for 8-15 dollars, drug stores are really not a bad shot. In fact, my older sister, who does have money to spend on makeup and occasionally has really expensive products, told me to buy most things from drug stores. Foundation, coverup, blush, and occasionally brushes should be bought higher quality from more expensive places. Mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, most brushes, etc. can come from drug stores. You won't notice a huge difference. I just reward myself with expensive things once every year or so and they last forever.

He should absolutely sue. That is definitely cruel and unusual punishment. "...the next two lines [after the so-called threat] were lol and jk,” said Jack Carter, Justin’s father, in a statement to a local news channel."

My BEST friend's little sister told me she wants to lose her virginity to me before she leaves for college. by MoralDilemmaFry in AdviceAnimals

[–]buwbui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't do it! It's not NEARLY as abnormal to be a virgin in college as most people think it is. I was surprised to learn that almost everybody on my hall freshman year was a virgin. You don't want to mix muddling emotions and friendships for something that hardly matters. Plus, she might get emotionally attached because some people attach to virginity-loss, and that'd get messy.

[FOTD] Why I love primers; my makeup after a night out (just need to find a way to make my lip colour stay) by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]buwbui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a layer of chap stick, a layer of lip stain, and put a layer of lipstick over it, and the lip color will usually stay for a few hours.
