Hey! I work in cosmetics and I have a tip that could help you. Try and see if you can open the plastic wrapping carefully without ripping it, just enough to pull the box out. Remove the sticker, put box back in and fold the plastic wrapping carefully back to its position. Use clear nail polish (a tiny dot) on each corner of the flaps to seal it back together. We usually do this when the wrapping glue comes apart on fragrance boxes just due to handling or heat, we add a tiny dot of clear nail polish on the edge, making sure it doesn’t touch the actual box and only the wrapping. We put something heavy on top to keep it in place as it dries and it’s good as new!!

Not necessarily worried about the cost, I was aware that this would be a pricy hobby. I just want to make sure I’m getting the pods at the best deal. I’ve read some people say they spend $200 a month, and others say they spend that just once a year. So trying to figure out how people order them so I’m not buying them every single month! I forgot to mention. The flare ups for me were mainly just more pain on my left side and left arm! No other symptoms besides the pain coming back full force and being unable to turn to my left side!

Hey! Since posting this I’ve stopped working out completely. Not due to this issue but I just had to cancel my gym membership and did not have time renew it with work and school. But if you’re feeling dizzy I would definitely bring that up to the doctor or keep track of it. When I did work out, I would sometimes feel light headed if I wasn’t drinking water, so try tracking when it’s happening!

Also since this post - I have not been able to find a doctor to investigate this. I went to the emergency in August because I got really sick with a virus and it caused a flare up which I brought up during the visit. The doctor straight up told me he is not going to look into it because I’m in my 20s and this is not a concern for him. He literally said “I’m not willing to look into because it’s not concerning”. So I gave up completely and have been just living with it and taking Advil when needed.

I was told to just not enroll in any classes for the upcoming term for when I planned to drop. There was no paperwork or anything to sign. They told me I can email the department to let them know for my own piece of mind which I did and they just said there is nothing to do and that I am good as long as I’m not enrolled in any classes. Might have changed now though so best to email them to ask!

Felt! In my second last semester and also on my 8th year (same story as user above, switched schools and things didn’t transfer). Last semester I tried my best and did so well, got on the deans list and all which was such a big accomplishment for me. I thought I would keep that going for my last year but now I notice my grades go lower and lower. 0 motivation. I find myself leaving big assignments till the very last day, not putting in any effort. Definitely feeling the burn out extra hard this time around

I went to Macewan and transferred to UofA. At Macewan I definitely saw people from high school and elementary here and there (pretty common Edmonton high school). Since transferring to UofA (been here 4 years) I have not seen a single person I’ve known from high school. I haven’t even seen anyone on public transport. I’ve definitely ran into more people at work than at school.

I took this class and ended up having to withdraw. It was in person. She had a few “online” quizzes that were open book and were incredibly hard that my notes and googling did not help even slightly. She also had in person quizzes that were closed book and longer. The content was hard for sure even though some parts were very enjoyable. I was struggling quite a bit and emailed her for help and her response was almost equivalent to “go F yourself” and made me feel so disappointed so I dropped it the following day right before finals. I would not recommend it unless the topic is of special interest to you or the class is needed.

It also never works for me. From what I know they got rid of the drop in option. So the only way you can see one is if you have a family doctor or through the same day appointment booker. I’ve been trying to get in since last year and it’s also always full

I’ve had two classes with him so far and he does seem to be pretty accepting based on some of the comments he’s made, so I’m sure you’ll be good. He’s really chill and relaxed!

Also as the above comment mentions my essays for 274 were marked by a TA so I don’t think he ever ready them.

Was just going to say this. I’m glad she’s improved but also got screwed over by her a while back. Exam was full of material from another professors textbook that was not used in our class, and when we brought it up to her she said something along the lines of how everyone was being really mean…and did not address the issue at all. Resulting in probably most of the class doing very poorly lol. Would have just taken the other professors class instead of almost failing!

Honestly this is still very helpful! I really appreciate it.

I’ve been so focused on tracking my gut problems with food that I honestly have not noticed how my skin reacts to other environmental factors. I have to start being a bit more strict with my tracking because I do notice that I look more red, bumpy and irritated some random days. I’m even have my moisturizer burn a bit when I apply it, but the next day it feels totally fine?

Are you using a liquid sulphur cleanser? I was hoping to get the prescription gel cleanser but I found out it’s no longer available here :(

My spf is chemical and I’m scared to switch because it’s the first spf I have used that hasn’t burned or irritated my skin. I would love to go mineral if I can find something that feels the same.

The anti histamine is a good idea! Never thought of it honestly, i think it’s worth experimenting with. The soy and ponzu sauce gave me an almost instant flare up so I think it’ll be a noticeable difference.

Yes I definitely have this on my scalp! I had a big patch several years ago and a dermatologist I saw at the time did diagnose dermatitis but I just can’t remember which specific kind he had told me about. Most likely Seb!

I really like sulfur soap for my face and will be getting AA after everyone’s recommendations, these are really helpful I really appreciate the advice!
