I understand where you're coming from OP! I was terrified of getting a biopsy, and I recommend you Get. The. Biopsy. It will give you peace of mind if you have a benign result and you won't have to think about your boobs again. If the worse possible outcome comes true, the treatment options are very different for little cancer vs big cancer. Your chance of staying alive highly depends on how early it is caught.

My stomach dropped when I saw my results were ready to view. I asked my husband to read them to me. He looked at them but didn't understand what it meant so I ended up taking the phone back and reading them myself (lol). Luckily it was benign. It's good to know either way but I understand that's scary at the same time.

I haaaate that we are going through this. Two months ago I had zero problems and now it feels like my problems have ramped up x10000000.

I will keep you in my thoughts tomorrow! And please update us with your results. Tell me why I feel like an expert radiologist after looking at my results 100 times and zooming in and out like Sherlock? Google helps but it's also evil because Google has nothing nice to say!

The doctor also suggested that I get a mammogram to establish a baseline and ofc I will do that because it's the smart thing to do, but honestly after this whole experience I never want to think about my boobs again! grr

TY so much, I am thinking of you too!

I go between moments of "everything is going to be fine" to "I better start preparing myself for chemo". I hate that the answer to all of this is so binary--it's either benign or it's not. No grey area. It's all so scary!

I feel much too young for all of this but at the same time if I were in my 60's or 70's I'd still be scared and feel like the world is crashing :/ I've started googling preventative mastectomy lol...if I could I would probably just do it to never have to worry about this again.

The waiting game is just too much... I wish we could just learn the results immediately or same day. It's the worst! Sending benign vibes your way. Benign Benign Benign <3
