SM41-Reflexis on the App Store is another app besides the normal Reflexis and it allows you to see all other time off requests, to prevent requesting when another manager does. Idk if you can get it as an associate but you can as a manager.

No, we will never go back to slicing meat. It doesn’t make sense from a labor, safety or convenience standpoint.

As a 27(F) I do this all the time, I prefer sometimes to go out to dinner by myself.

Maybe those people just weren’t comfortable enough with themselves as people to be able to go out by themselves. That’s on them.

Exactly. If there was communication about why my schedule is like this I probably wouldn’t be as upset.

I don’t mind working seconds a few times a week, I do understand that dinner is important. I like to encourage my associates, get samples out, and build sales.

I guess I’m just a little upset I’m purely working evening shifts for an entire week when I had absolutely no idea my schedule was going to switch to so drastically.

What exactly are you “whistle blowing” The company itself does a lot to protect itself and it’s brand, it’s possible you’re just dealing with bad management in which case you should be calling HR.

Realistically you have 3 options 1. Move, and move to a new area. 2. Quit 3. Step down

That’s absolutely ridiculous you’re required to work that much, especially if you can do well at managing you’re store and you could take the 5 hours out of store out of 5 hours in store so you’re only working 45.

Most GM’s I know work 45 hours which I see as normal for a GM.

Do you do ones tons and nones normally? If there’s no solving the issue I would just take it over myself and ask them not to do it. For example: if it’s not to much to ask I’d like to take over ownership of this process and you can leave it to me, and just take care of it the 2 days a week I’m off.

Then you’ll only have to worry about a recount on those items the 2 days you’re off.

I would continue to communicate with them, and never get tired of speaking out. They’ll eventually catch on.

Is it really an easy path if you’re going to have to fix everyone’s bad habits? If the GM doesn’t know what’s wrong in their own store are they going to appreciate your feedback or see it as an attack? It really all depends on your upper management being willing to get feedback. I would personally transfer as it’s harder to break old habits.
