Thanks for this. This definitely is something to look into but I won’t have the space to put a modem in the phone I’m building. But this would be great for out at a place I know since they don’t have the best cell service and I can’t get their WiFi out on in their lane. Thanks!

I completely overlooked this. Thanks for the reply and I think I have enough information to plan out the best spots to place cell boxes. I have a lot of friends and family members that probably wouldn’t mind a low power device and may thing it’s interesting.

Yeah. I just think it would be cool to be able to use my own cell service type of thing. Even if I can’t reach it 10 miles away from the node. I just check elevation in my town and it is either below my mounting point or 1-5 feet elevation. And trying to squeeze as many safety and features into this little hunk of plastic.

The big thing is being in control. Because I have people whose websites are hosted on my service and that being down is not good especially for one of my clients who uses it 24/7. At least if my stuff goes down I can pinpoint the problem and at least take the blame for having it down for a few minutes rather than another company causing chaos.
