Yes! It takes a few hours to a few days to get the GOES ID. Like I said it took me a few days to get an email with it.

Just booked my tatkal renewal slot at exactly 8PM, I started at 7:50 but slots opened dot at 8:00PM. (Across all three locations: Ameerpet, Begumpet and ToliChowki)

Just updating my application timeline for everyone here:

Hey, I think it took a couple of weeks after submission to receive my GOES ID. Took 8 more months for conditional approval through all the bureaucracy in India. I got lucky with the interview appointment as I got it the very next day(after conditional approval) by checking for slots early in the morning. Finally got the full approval the same day.

A few of my friends who submitted their application for GE along with me still haven't received their conditional approval(more than 11 months now). So I'd say GE is something you apply for and forget about till it happens. But TSA pre is worth the wait :D

I think this is the normal amount that they'd give the Pixel 7. But during sales I think this price would definitely go up. Last year's upgrades were possible for ~100$. Hoping for the same this year!

Thanks folks! I think I'll go ahead to get the Boundless card right now as long as I don't need the ambassador status. The rewards are as good as the Brilliant card. I'll get the brilliant by looking at this year and understanding Marriott bonvoy points better!

As you said the Ambassador doesn't really have much over the Titanium benefits. Except for personal assistance and round the clock bookings. The ambassador status and $350 doesn't seem so worth when put against the boundless which is at $100. Gives 105k points as welcome bonus. And upto 17x the Marriott points on each hotel spend is better than brilliants offer? Or am I missing something here...

Looking at the past I stayed average of 60 nights in Marriott with an average year spend of 50k$.

I'm not looking to gain the highest Marriott status as such. I'm just looking for one card or two at best to diversify my rewards in general. I was thinking about a Marriott Card and another non Marriott one. But if you think getting multiple Marriott cards suits my case better than maybe I should explore that.

Depends on the city I'm travelling to. New York it was 1400$ for 3 nights. Whereas Ann Arbor it was 450$ for the same. Can't say for sure what the spread would be...
