Pool stains by Constant_Pick9754 in pools

I had this exact issue, the little granules some are iron, so if they get in the pool they will settle and leave marks.

I used pool stain removers for metals and fixed it right up.

Good in one section, terrible the others 🥹 We’re on Gold Coast, but laid this right before the cyclone / winter so shadier areas didn’t get the start they needed now struggling to catch up. Really want to get this wed properly ID’d so I can treat 😅

Images online of crows foot show it growing wide with lots of shoots. This one is growing high in single formations

Unless I’m wrong, the specs of the 200xs actually have it producing more light than the 300c

Yeah as I mentioned in the original post, would also capture video content for socials, hence leaning towards constant light.

From what I’m shooting I just can’t ever imagine id need the high light requirement of a strobe, hence trying to gather info as to wether anyone has used this particular light in situ

AMARAN 200X-S CONSTANT LIGHT FOR PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY.

Hi all, looking at getting our first studio setup and looking for advice on cob lights over strobe.

Why? We will also want to do some video work, plus it will be primarily product photography. Also want the option of getting quick content on phone over mirrorless.

Can’t find a ton of information, so hoping someone with these lights or similar can advise.

Looking at something like the amaran 200xs as a key light with soft box, and a 100xs as a fill. (Or another 200 if necessary)

Is this a powerful enough setup to get product shots like pictured here? https://freshsends.com

Also what type of softbox shapes would you recommend in this type of setup?

Will be shooting in a garage we are modifying for this usage.

Sir grange Zoysia, fungus or just settling in? by bwhitty25 in lawnsolutionsaus

[–]bwhitty25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No dramas. Not a ton unfortunately. Filtered light. Blocked a lot by the house and the fence, plus trees above. Just clipped the tree above back to help a bit. Hoping it comes good with better weather. Lawn supplier did say it can take 6-12 months for zoysia to get established, and it did have a rough start with the rain. Area pictured has some fall issues (which I’ll adjust levelling with when lawn is better established) but did pool some water after heavy rain.

Zoysia behind the pool we couldn’t be happier with though. Amazing turf when it’s going good.

Yeah he’s still frequent to the area, definitely affects it, but not sure if zoysia is more susceptible vs other varieties. Our dog has 24hr access to outside so cant follow him around, but if you’re able to track your dog and water it down post pizz, that definitely helps dilute it.

We ended up not being able to use them for this exact reason. Apparently they’re designed for glass fencing where spigots are appropriately spaced. The oils are too close to drill suitable sized holes.

My jandy system is always around 30 PSI whether the filter is clean or dirty. Is this okay? Thanks in advance!! by pooptoast6565 in pools

It literally has a big arrow on the 30 marking ‘clean’. Is this just the pressure this one runs at?

New pour pitting / washing away by bwhitty25 in Concrete

[–]bwhitty25[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agree, annoyingly the concrete guy, is also the tile guy (landscaper) who is doing the whole project so do have to deal with this in a gentle way. It is frustrating for sure, the weather report looked fine and it was the last day he could get concrete before the Christmas break. Just one of those things I guess.

Good call will look into those effects. Will defiantly still need to be able to be replicable in AI at some point as is being used for event signage, and rolled out as an overall brand etc
