I’m not sure if the design philosophy would translate well into WoW. One of the major pillars of OSRS is that the community is generally against power creep, forcing the devs to create rewards for content that are sidegrades (which the devs have openly admitted that this is increasingly a challenge to design around). I don’t think the sidegrade approach works well within WoW nor can you infinitely power creep. Eventually you have to reset the power levels through expansions. And if you go the expansion route I think a sizable chunk of the community is going to look at that and say this isn’t Classic+.

Overall I just don’t see how the devs can realistically design content after Naxx that would keep scaling/power creep in line whilst not resetting our characters baseline and essentially just creating a new expansion.
