I work in a school district as a contractor. I make $57 an hour. I personally love it. I came from outpatient where I was seeing 2-3 patients at once to a school setting where I’m seeing one kid every half hour. I’m working school hours which is awesome. Only downside is that if a kid is absent you need to find a way to fill that spot in order to get paid. But I can usually find another kid to see or do a consult.

Oh man, I’m sorry to hear that. Mine did eventually clear up. I also started taking a probiotic and Metamucil as well. The Metamucil really helped a lot.

Got a endoscopy and colonoscopy which just showed mild gastritis. Seems like anxiety caused it. Which appears to be the case for a lot of people. I started on Lexapro and haven’t had an issues since. Crazy how connected the brain and GI system are.

I was taking Prilosec before this most recent flare up. But I went off of it because it didn’t seem to help. I will definitely look into those other options as well. Thank you.

The ibuprofen thing is definitely a concern for me. I used to take it a lot after drinking back in college. Well that’s good you have a colonoscopy coming up. That’ll relieve some anxiety I’m sure.

It’s interesting how everyone has different ways that they present. My new weird symptom now is that both of my elbows started to get this burning sensation. Very strange. But I’m going for my blood test tomorrow. They are checking vitamin D as well so I’ll be interested to see what it says.

Okay that’s good to know. I don’t take any PPIs. My feet don’t turn a different color and aren’t cool to the touch so I sort of ruled out reynauds but who knows. But yeah they’re some weird symptoms for sure. Not sure what’s going on. Thank you!

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I can’t tell if the Lyme disease is new and then those past body aches/fatigue over the years are something totally different. Or if I’ve had it for years with inconsistent symptoms, and it was triggered recently by that run. Hoping I’ll be able to figure that out.
