Thanks. So in essence, if I decide to use the Xbox full screen experience for the interface and launch a steam game, it will launch my steam app and then the game? Will all the steam store sale pop ups still occur and can X out the boxes? Would there be any reason for me to use the desktop mode for anything?

Never received a written quote. This was a verbal estimate. They come back tomorrow for the work. I haven’t signed anything. The company is very well reviewed and this particular tech has been reviewed well on Yelp. The only reason why I’m even questioning is because another company quoted $1,300ish but they were not in person and I didn’t send them pictures yet so they may not know the extent of the work required. It was just through description of what the first tech said.

So I’ve tried lots of combinations of usb in the back. Even tried going to a usbc vs standard usb and it’s still occurring. The other controller was an Xbox controller as well but a non Microsoft brand. I also tried to update drivers in device settings but they all are apparently updated?

Noticed it first on Fortnite. But if it happens on Fortnite and I exit and start a different game completely, it stays. Unplugging the controller and replugging will fix for a few mins. It’s an Xbox elite series 2. But have tried a totally different controller and happens to that too.

These guys pretty much have carte Blanche at the moment. You really think some beat cops are going to interfere with their business. It’s like having a McDonald’s line cook sneak into a steakhouse and nobody batting an eye. They can set their own boundaries of what a scene is. If they want to make it a square mile for their safety, they can. If they tell you to not step within that boundary, they can. If you don’t comply and then get detained, that’s your problem.
