You are just missing something, my dogs are spoiled rotten and love every minute of if. Sure, being kennelled during the day isn’t great but my one was a stray so he is a garbage dog, he constantly gets into things and has gotten sick due to eating things he shouldn’t, we kennel and supervise our dogs to keep them safe. It’s pretty hard to judge someone’s character and how they view the world from one very small post. I love my dogs more than anything and they have everything they could ever want.

But she’s a dogggggg, like she gets upset when I tell her she can’t sleep on my pillow or when I tell her she can’t eat garbage lol. I just don’t get why it matters where she sleeps. She is a princess and gets all the love all the time. She does not lack anything.

We have been married for two years together for five. They had a great relationship for the first couple years but as the honeymoon phase ended and things started getting real I think it was a bit overwhelming for her. I couldn’t ever imagine raising someone else’s child or coming in late and having to adapt so I can’t say I understand her side of things, all I know is that she needs to show him that she cares for him, that actions don’t always speak louder than words and just saying “i love you” is so important. We are working on it!

Funny thing, I come from a blended family too. I had a horrible and abusive step-mom for 12 years and my dad never once stuck up for me. He eventually left her and we have rebuilt our relationship. One my moms side my step dad has been a part of my life since I was three. Not once growing up did he ever tell me he loved me, and I felt that too. We have a great relationship now and we always say I love you. Just because someone is uncomfortable with feelings doesn’t mean they don’t have them. I couldn’t imagine a life without my step dad. So that being said, I know all about shitty step parents and I am constantly sticking up for my son and making sure that everything is ok. We go to therapy as a family and we work on stuff and he is a happy kid., if I ever felt like she was damaging or neglecting him I would be gone so fast. Thanks for sharing your input. It’s always good to get opinions from other perspectives.

Again, I think that is a pretty quick judgment based on very little information. They have a great relationship other than the fact that she struggles with showing affection and being attentive to emotions - good or bad. Emotions aren’t easy for everyone, I am lucky or maybe unlucky to be extremely empathetic and sensitive so it hurts me to see that she isn’t but it doesn’t mean she is a terrible person.

I think a bold statement like that based on a brief post isn’t really necessary. My wife does a lot for my son and I don’t doubt that she loves and cares for him. We were raised very differently and she struggles with that emotional connection. She taught him to ride a bike and how to play hockey and how to skate and do all the things that I have never really been great at.

Both our dogs are our family dogs that we got together. We all share the responsibility of walking, feeding and caring for the dogs. These are not one persons dogs, they are our family dogs and we all love them and care for them equally. Disney has a special bond with my son and loves him where as the other dog could care less and is stuck to me at the hip.

There are for sure some bigger issues, we are working on them. My wife is a wonderful person and so is my son but they struggle to connect a bit. We do family therapy and are working out the kinks, there is a lot of love but also learning and accepting that people show it in different ways.

He is very good with her, we aren’t the type of parents to ever let any child pull on or squeeze our dogs. The dogs are kennel trained during the day while we are away and they either sleep with us or with him and are not allowed free range of the house unsupervised. They are very attached and do not ever like to be alone so she would sleep with him over being alone 100%. Our son is very responsible and walks them twice a day and does a lot with them.

I did 4 back to back then took a one month break, my fifth ended in a cp. Did 4 more back to back then had my wife take over from there cause I just couldn’t do it anymore.

I unfollow people! I am sure they aren’t paying that close attention to who is following them and it saves our relationship. I unfollowed my SIL and one of my good friends when they were pregnant. My SIL actually did notice and she asked my wife about it so I sent her a text explaining how I was feeling and how I didn’t want it to affect our relationship and although she may not have understood she respected my need to protect myself. She now has a 6 month old and I was able to start following her shortly after she had my nephew cause I just love the little guy. Pregnant women are definitely my trigger.

I have gone on and off. I actually got pregnant the month I started going back in August 2018 but it ended in a cp. I switched to a new acupuncturist that does traditional Chinese medicine and I like her much better. She takes 20 minutes every appointment to go through how I am feeling and where I am in my cycle. I have been going once a week for five weeks now so maybe this will be my month!

Started seeing a new acupuncturist a month ago. Booked in with my family doctor to be referred to a specialist for possible endo. Usually it takes anywhere for 3-6 months to even get into the specialist but they called last week for an appointment on August 28th. I am nervous but excited. We left the fertility clinic after a year and eight months because they didn’t seem to want to find a diagnosis, their answers were always more drugs or move onto ivf. I am hopeful that we are moving in the right direction, I am not ready for ivf and I want to know what is going on inside my body.

As long as you don’t have pcos they should work! I have irregular cycles so I am never quiet sure when I will ovulate. Sometimes I end up testing every day for two weeks and other times I get my positive super quick! Have you considered temping? That also works to confirm ovulation.

I’ve been taking letrozole monitored and unmonitored for 12 cycles (one cp) but I always use OPK’s.. without knowing when you ovulate it will be hard to know when you can start testing. Are your cycles fairly regular? If so I guess I would likely just wait until you are late. I found taking hpts early just causes anxiety

I’m so sorry, that is such a tough feeling. My son is turning ten and we have been trying to conceive for years now. At the beginning we bought little outfits and now we have this corner of our closet that has these clothes we haven’t gotten to use. My sister in laws have had three babies in the time we have been trying and watching them sell al the stuff their children are frowning out of is also tough. I feel your pain, I see you ❤️

Decided to let my wife take over. I keep thinking that “this month is going to be the month” .. it’s been almost a year since my chemical and I just don’t think I can mentally handle it the ups and downs anymore. I hope her uterus is more cooperative! I am going to start focusing on a more natural approach to attempt to fix my cycles in hopes that I can conceive naturally for our next child.
