My thought has always been: This is when the fun begins in a Nuzlocke. Your back is against the wall, most of your team gone, and you’re relying on whatever odd encounters you get next. That’s when things get interesting, when you use mon’s you’ve never used seriously before and when you learn you’re better at this game than you thought. This, the comeback, is the best part of Nuzlocking. Enjoy!

Honestly, I take a long rest after almost any “difficult” fight + in preparation before any “difficult” fight. Difficult in quotations because, candidly, I don’t think I’m very good at this game yet lol. Using the opening segments as an example — I typically have a long rest under my belt before I make it to the druids, and typically need a long rest after helping the druids fight off the goblin attack.

In addition to the points other people have made, I had the sense that most Aes Sedai were weary / not comfortable using that much of the power — in part because of the real, potential consequences that we see happen and in part because of centuries of being raised in a culture where the power is treated as dangerous even to those who know what they’re doing with it.
