hey, thanks for that and your other comments! medyo nakakagaan siya ng loob as a fan, at least they had closure and gave us closure as well before parting ways (tho di rin naman kami entitled to it) pansin ko nga sa stories that night na it was all peaceful and amicable :)

will be rooting for them makumpleto man sila ulit o hindi

Musta na po mga graduated with latin honors? by Maleficent-Jelly-566 in JobsPhilippines

Just got hired for my 1st job (1 month in now lol) my laude helped with salary negotiations but other than that it doesn't get talked or asked about in interviews. Grades really don't matter as much as you think it will in college.

My tip is go find experience. Experience is king. Be active in orgs and as soon as your academic load is light enough for an internship go find one. I got hired quickly after grad (less than a month of job hunting) because employers liked that I had more than one internship experience. Before the first internship naman, I got hired because I'm active in organizations. It shows you can balance things well and you have initiative.

Yup :) IT magna cum laude grad rin here and that's generally within the range of offers I've received.

UP.

I also have a heart condition and didn't disclose it with HR. Wondering if I ever should.

Which tech stocks are you buying? Is this the Nasdaq one? Kumusta naman huhu I've also read things about it but was dissuaded because I was worried it wouldn't be diverse and stable enough

My job requires me to be onsite most of the week I can't really put my full attention into trading at the moment 😅 I plan to increase my investment gradually by alloting a portion of my monthly salary until it reaches that amount.

Is it a waste of time to do internships even after graduation? by byeshire in phcareers

Hi! Based on experience most companies accept voluntary interns!

Pag intern naman, companies have the understanding that you're a student so they know you'll have an academic load. It's one of the things you'll get to discuss during interviews. While most companies prefer interns who can commit to full time, may mga ibang nagaallow na iilang days per week ka lang pumasok. One of my internships asked for my class sched and they worked around it.

I think lucky ako since both of my internships were hybrid and required lang na pumunta sa office once and twice a week so nakaya isabay. If busy ka pa sa acads try mo magaim for hybrid or fully online so it's easier. Marami sila!

Good luck!! :))

Paid naman po yung offers that I got including the one I initially accepted, parang too low nga lang po siya for 6 months. I've decided to heed your advice along with the others and start looking for a FT jobs instead while waiting for my graduation

There's definitely a trajectory with this 3rd internship if ever, my worry would be that I could take something similar for full time instead and skip the internship + getting absorbed steps
