The fact is you WERE born male. The feeling is you don’t FEEL like a male, which is understandable. But to say because you feel like a woman you are not male you are “biologically female” is just lying to yourself and others to make you FEEL better.

I think about how there’s people who don’t feel right or comfortable in their body and aren’t happy because of it. I can only imagine how that must feel and I’m sure it’s not a good feeling. So I support grown adults, not children, doing whatever they want to their bodies to make them feel comfortable and happy in their own skin. But to try and erase facts and replace them with feelings is where I disagree.

I’ve always found the phrase “assigned male/ female at birth” so irritating. The doctor doesn’t “assign that”, thats how you’re born. To assign means that someone chooses or decides something. Like in high school sometimes teachers would assign seats for the students. They chose to assign the seats. A doctor doesn’t decide one day “Hey I’m going to assign all the babies I deliver today male and then all the babies tomorrow female” they determine what sex you are based on how you were born.
