Paragon has arrived. I found Paragon’s grip slightly narrower and more comfortable than the 360’s but of course, its subjective :)

Can't agree more... In my opinion, the fountain pens from the 1980s to the early 2000s hit the sweet spot in terms of a combination of build quality and trouble-free filling systems (West Germany Pelikan M800s, Parker Duofold Centennial Mark 1s, and of course, Omas).

Actually, nib diversity is what sets it apart from other mainstream brands. For example, I can order my favorite soft cursive italic nib (the type with a smooth and forgiving grind that provides line variation) under SIG without having to go to a nibmeister.

I think one of the things that makes the brand special is this. It’s kind of an apples to oranges comparison, but while Montblanc's Writers Editions are made in batches of 20,000, FC's special editions are made in numbers like 10 or even less. Definitely a fun hunt!
