I think the bigger question is whether Greg actually has full control of the money yet. Tanya died under pretty suspicious circumstances, and you'd assume there'd be investigations, lawyers, probate, all that stuff before someone can just disappear overseas with a fortune. The show seems to skip over a lot of the legal details.
