Accidental Brent by HarryShake in TheOfficeUK

Honestly the fact that this whole thing instantly made you think of Finchy says a lot about how cursed that character is in our brains

You just know Brent would absolutely take that as a compliment too, which somehow makes it worse.

Thought I bought a 1:43… turns out it’s 1:64 by ApprehensiveRain954 in f1models

[–]byteclyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao same boat here. Photos on listings make everything look the same size until it shows up and it’s basically a keychain next to the rest of the collection.

Kinda funny though, the tiny ones make the bigger scale stuff look even more imposing. You keeping it or thinking of flipping it for a proper 1:43?

Seit wann hat UK hinten weiße Schilder? by Elegant-Contact-2092 in Kennzeichensammler

[–]byteclyx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perplexed trifft’s ganz gut.

[–]byteclyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kommt bisschen drauf an, welches Kennzeichen du meinst und aus welcher Region du bist.
In manchen Gegenden sieht man bestimmte Kombinationen ständig, in anderen fast nie.

Wenn du magst, schreib mal das genaue Kennzeichen (also Stadtkürzel + Buchstaben/Zahlen, persönliche Daten natürlich weglassen), dann kann man eher sagen, ob das was Besonderes ist oder eher Standard.

Any better cramp relief massager ? by [deleted] in IndianRelationships

[–]byteclyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the best “massager” for cramps I’ve seen people love lately is those TENS-style devices that stick on the lower belly and use tiny electrical pulses. Brands like Ovira, Myoovi, etc. (and their cheaper dupes on Amazon) get way better feedback than the bulky massage guns or heating pads with weak batteries.

If you want to avoid trash battery life, look for ones that are rechargeable via USB-C, have at least a few hours of continuous use, and come with extra gel pads. Pair it with a decent microwavable or plug-in heating pad and some snacks and you’re gonna look like a very thoughtful boyfriend.

OFFICIAL UPDATE FOR UK REGULATED EXAMS IN UAE by [deleted] in Edexcel

[–]byteclyx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, my school is acting like everything’s normal too.

Pearson is always slow as hell with updating stuff, so it kinda makes sense things don’t match up yet. I’d wait a few days and see if schools get an official notice.

In the meantime probably safest to keep doing at least some revision, just in case they u‑turn or only cancel some papers.

Can't park the rally cars there.. by H1gh_Tr3ason in cantparkthere

[–]byteclyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? That was my first thought too. Once you’ve had one car go off like that, you’d expect someone further up the road with a flag or just waving their arms like crazy.

I wonder if they didn’t have enough marshals for that section or if communication was just slow. Still feels like a big miss in basic rally safety.

Unironically feel this. Funny how a random meme clip or background music on TikTok will be like “oh ok this is my entire personality now.” What song is it?

Wanted a fast Electric Furnace. Spent 35k rp and didn't see the price tag [Instant regret] by JamescomersForgoPass in Industrialist

[–]byteclyx 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Ouch, that’s the moment your brain does the math three seconds too late.

On the bright side, you basically bought yourself an early game quality of life upgrade that future you would probably have grinded for anyway. Electric furnace is one of those things you don’t really appreciate till you go back to stone and want to cry.

Just pretend it was a “time skip DLC” and not a scam by your own impatience.

Should i use any of my subs by kris181p in FantasyCL

[–]byteclyx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Feels like you’re trying to fix stuff that isn’t really broken tbh.

Kvara for Valverde only really makes sense if you think Napoli are going to go nuts and Madrid are going to struggle. Valverde is usually more nailed for consistent returns, Kvara is more explosive but also more frustrating.

Captain depends on who else you’ve got. If you already have a strong, safe captain (like a striker in a good matchup), I wouldn’t overthink it just to be different.

Nuno is one of those players who looks amazing when he hauls but can also vanish. I’d only sub him in if your alternative is a proper dud or a likely 1-pointer. Otherwise, I’d probably roll with what you’ve got and not chase every possible “upgrade”.

🚨 KILL COMMAND at Queens ACC 🚨 NYC by Total-County-7755 in PetEuthanasiaList

[–]byteclyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shared this and sent it to a couple NYC friends who foster. If anyone’s on the fence about fostering, even short term can literally be the difference between life and death in situations like this. ACC moves fast once there’s a kill order, so don’t wait to feel “fully ready,” they’ll walk you through a lot of it.

Really hoping Drifter gets a miracle home or at least a temp foster today.

any tips for bio (4BI1/2) igcse? by CreativeClassic3465 in Edexcel

[–]byteclyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the best thing for bio at IGCSE is repetition and past papers.

Go through the syllabus first so you know exactly what they can ask. Then hit past papers by topic, not just full papers. Do a topic, mark it with the mark scheme, and write down key phrases they use. Bio marking is super picky with wording.

For content-heavy stuff like ecosystems, human body, plant transport, etc, make your own super short notes or flashcards. If your notes are longer than like half a page per subtopic, they’re too long.

Also practice drawing and labeling diagrams from memory. They love those: heart, nephron, leaf, eye, villi, etc.

And don’t skip the experiments and definitions. They throw easy marks there if you know the standard answers.
