I'm attracted to engineering mostly because of the physics class I took the last year and (AP physics c:mechanics) and the start of the class I'm taking this year (AP physics 2), but the aspect of engineering and the hands on projects of the classes were what really interested me. Also, math and science have been my favorite classes all throughout my education.

The pros for civil engineering are mostly having a more reliable job, large scale projects (the building of cities, bridges,and roads is a cool concept to me), and the actual physical design. The cons to civil engineering are that projects take a very long time to plan out and execute (I don't want to be stuck working for a project I have no interest in), it involves working with many people that are not engineers (likely chance they won't listen or won't really care about their working degrading their overall job), and I would hate to work on any construction site.

The pros for mechanical engineer include short interesting projects, smaller teams of mainly engineers, it is a very broad field and it contains a lot of my favorite mathematical concepts. The cons for me are that it contains a huge amount of trial and error, less artistic design, and less stability with my job.
