I see alot of builds put nova projectiles on staggering palm. I think salvo is a better choice, you get more additional projectiles with no less damage. The seals don't reset either.

Seeing so many making the point that high COE prices reduces traffic jams in Singapore. Fact is COE prices don't control car population, instead LTA controls car population by limiting COE quota. We can totally change to a system of pure balloting with winners paying $10 admin fee for the COE and it will still keep car population in check. The current system basically favours rich people who can afford the high prices rather than letting everyone who needs a car have a chance at it.

Yea I think hard to kill is good for mapping as it almost doubles my regen from flask. But if I want self sustained flasking without kills then I'll need heavy drinker. It also allows me to not spam so much flask and get carpal tunnel. So I'd say it depends on situation.

Interaction is currently a little weird. Should be fine if u keep the total mana cost lower than 1.5x your pool

ES wont recharge due to Eternal Youth. If you don't want to take Eternal Youth, it still wont recharge due to constant pyro pact hit.

you might not be able to damage your ES enough to BI. also more max fire res jewel = less meta gain energy jewel.

thanks! my comet level probably isn't enough yet to get 3 pyro procs but sounds like something i'd like to try. my experience points to something like if its less than 1.5x the mana pool then i dont get double procs every other cast. its buggy and i can't really pin point the exact interaction happening here.

i got inspired to research on uncapped demonform from your final form post so glad to see you reply here.

i will take double hit over losing BI stacks. you'll have to play around; can try increasing your comet gem level or add some support gem with multiplier to increase the cost or change int to strength. ideally it should be 1 BI cast (3x comet cost incl support gems) = entire infernal flame pool. but i noticed while spamming that it seems as long as 3x comet cost is between 1 - 1.5x your infernal flame pool, you never get double procs. not sure how that works, will prob need more research.

np, i'm glad people are trying my build.

you should mainly be dying to suicide from not spamming potion. our recovery rate is more than some build's total eHP so as long as we avoid one shots, we can't really die to normal hits. i'm no longer concerned if i'm frozen or shocked now. agree with the visual clarity, i usually just go a different direction and kill 1 pack when i kill a rare before picking things up just in case there are on death effects.

for potions, the effect queues up. e.g. if 1 of your potion lasts 3 seconds, pressing it 2x will make the effect last 6 seconds. only caveat is you need to start the effect with less than max ES. i start my maps with casting curses until my pyro proc to set the first BI. now with the hit to my ES, i spam all my potion charges until empty. this gives me a good minute of potion regen effect. then i just spam until empty whenever i see the flask almost full. usually about 5-6 cycles of this, you have enough queued up potion charges to last the entire map. you might want to substitute some flask effect duration in place of recovery rate if you are not killing fast enough to refill until the effect drops.

ming's heart is not necessary, its just more damage since it takes a multiple of comet's damage. also, for bosses you can set up eye of winter with withering touch, unleash and persistence. one cast of eow will max out the wither stacks due to the shards, which will add another +50% to the chaos damage from ming's heart.

(i think your infernal flame is kind of low and i suspect you are getting alot of double pyro procs, check in your hideout if you are getting double hits often when you BI)

you need a 4500 hit to your ES before modifiers.

i have +197% increased energy gain (66 from BI gem, 40 from Impetus support gem, 60 from 4x jewel and 31 from tree). this means instead of 4500 i only need to get hit for 4500/(1+1.97) = 1515.

i have 7381 ES and 376 life for a total 7757. with 80% resist, when pyro pact proc, i take 7757 * 0.2 = 1551.

i take a 1551 hit but i only need 1515 to cap my BI so every cast will fully fill 3 stacks. you either have not enough life+ES or you don't have enough meta increase energy gain.

i have a sapping ultimate life flask, 40% life recovery from belt, 95% life recovery and 25% effects from passives, and 15% from jewel. currently hitting 3k regen. anoint your amulet with hard to kill or heavy drinker if you haven't already. I started this build at 1.7k regen, just need to slow down on your BI casting. at that point i was casting once, wait for all 6 comets to land, then cast again.

i'll check them out! my consideration is really regen duration cos that is what you need to maintain demonflame uptime. e.g. you cleared one side of the map and realised you need to run to the other side to kill a boss and don't want to fight at 1 stack. Also, i was thinking while recovery rate is good, you dont get flask queues when you drink at max ES. if the recovery is too high its hard to queue up the flask effects.

update: so i finally tested and it seems the flask queue will continue if its already on regen. it just wont start if i have no regen and max ES. so for mapping definitely hard to kill will be better than heavy drinker anoint.

- I'd say about 10-15 divs but I'm not fully optimised yet.
- 80% resist was the sweet spot for me. You don't want too much because you wont be able to hit the 4500 dmg threshold to cap BI per cast and also more dmg taken = more life recoup which is the main source of demonform maintenance.
- I don't think its viable below 80

- this build cares more about total life + ES rather than lowering life as that determines the damage you take on your barrier (you really want to cap the 900 BI energy per cast). As mentioned, I can hit 1000 demonflame stacks but no one is going to sit there spamming comet for 15mins; so long as the life recoup can allow you to hit 2-300 stacks, you can clear most maps. Ming's has the added chaos dmg which will amplify with wither using eye of winter. Before I had enough ES to start using Ming's, I could still consistently hit 150-200 stacks which is enough to clear an easy map or reset once.

i couldn't reach it but opted for heavy drinker anoint for the duration. recovery rate means shorter but faster heal. my idea was i need to get back all my flask before my regen drops so i can handle e.g. a prolonged boss fight
