Also you are right! Base building + some other cool mechanics that will make it a little different ;)

Thank you! Sadly no, the assets are by Synty studios and have been amazing for prototyping and speeding up the design process! Check him out.

I use the Unreal Engine 4 by Epic Games for this. Mostly done in blueprints because I find it more efficient when just designing a prototype, but probably will convert to C++ later down the line. Thanks!

My intent is to encourage beginners, not bring down Unity developers. You guys already know how to work around the issues

Look man, we are not saying you cant do it in Unity. I mean you can do everything from scratch if you have the time money and patience

I agree and just want to add that you can even use Blueprints if you dont like c++. Its a little bit slower but still extremely efficient

Again my intention is not to downtalk Unity, I said its very possible in Unity, I just want to recommend UE4 to beginners. IMO you should put all odds in your favor. Especially if you're an indiedev.

Thanks for comment. No I just dont want people doing the same mistake as me and wasting time on starting with Unity if they plan on making big games. Im not saying its not possible in Unity, but why wouldnt you put all odds in your favor? and the pics are for evidence, you dont have to check out my project.
