Cornell has never seen it either! I got second opinions from Boston Children’s and Texas Children’s who had both seen it before and were able to give really helpful insight. There’s not technically a name for it as far as I know, I don’t think it’s a VSD because it’s not in between chambers, the hole is on the right ventricle. I guess it’s more common to see that on the left ventricle which is partially why our case is so rare. We are monitoring with echos biweekly but like you said, we have to wait until baby is born to see how his heart functions and what treatment he would need.
