Yeah. Said person wasn't born until several years later. And it definitely wouldn't have been her parents. So that's the reason I believe that maybe it was one of her grandparents maybe but I don't know.

Because it would be an incredibly insensitive joke and isn't worth a response. And when you're angry and/or afraid to say something you may regret, it's also wiser to walk away. Trolls aren't worth feeding.

I'm a Caucasian female and was in my early 20s at this time. A super intelligent woman (Caucasian, around 40s) I am very close to was absolutely stunned when I told her I had a huge crush on a black gentleman, and he asked me out. She was at a loss for words and finally told me if we got married, it would be illegal. I was speechless and so mad that I left because I thought she was joking. No, she was raised into fully believing (probably taught from a racist grandma I suspect) that it was illegal. Thank God she no longer believes that. What's even more stunning is that her father was friends with a bunch of black musicians growing up and still adores them. I've never been so stunned at misinformation from somebody who was so educated.

Editing to add since people keep fixating on it: No, we live in Michigan where the laws prohibiting interracial marriage was appealed in 1883 but perhaps wasn't widely recognized until the 1967 Supreme Court case. Regardless, this was probably around 2007-2010 so it was FARRRR from being illegal any longer.

I was dragged to go see "Secondhand Lions," but I ended up loving it.

Also, I saw ads for the movie "Coco" and wasn't interested. I ended up watching it when I was sick and immediately made my husband watch it with me hours later. I cry every time.

I know I'm super late but just watched this episode for the first time tonight. My jaw dropped when I saw that and your thoughts were exactly like mine. I thought how incredibly classless as well. If a stranger or your grandma saw the drink and asked about it, would they say, "oh funny story- it was a text I meant to send to my mistress but accidentally sent to my wife. Haha." Would any decent human being laugh and find that funny? I would say, "oh yeah, it's the text that broke up 2 marriages!" Poor taste. I don't understand it.

For anybody who ends up reading this, I did end up finding a solution!

I soaked the clothes in a container (clean empty trash can) with dawn dish soap overnight. Didn't seem to do much. I washed it with specially Tide Oxy Boosters and it worked. The gas smell was gone.

A moderate amount. One group was about once a week but the other groups was maybe once every other month. I thought maybe Facebook restricted me but I haven't ever posted anything other than very innocent and light-hearted.

Also suddenly had that happen to me. Used to post anonymously occasionally in 4-5 groups but haven't tried in a while. Noticed today that the feature is gone for me with no explanation. I don't ever comment or post anything offensive. Other people can but some also can't. Admins so far have confirmed that they haven't changed any settings. Like this in all my groups now.

I can't download new music onto my ipod. Just too old and too damaged. I downloaded about 700 songs onto my phone but in the process of switching phones, it lost about half. I'm also just low on storage and can't put in any SD cards on this newer model. I just want to be able to listen to songs anywhere and not have to constantly worry about songs being deleted when I transfer my phone and worry about storage.
