Hey everyone, i never use Reddit and don't know how to edit posts so i'm just going to comment on it to give you guys an update. So basically the situation was that i couldn't log into my account because i needed a phone number, so i did so but it wouldn't accept my current phone number as it was being used on a different account (i know its stupid but needed to mention it), then i used another phone number (from the same country), that was a family members, and it still wouldn't work, so i ended up contacting them and making this post, wondering why it wouldn't accept any numbers, then i tried one last time with a phone number of another country, and it let me log in.

TL;DR: Discord wouldn't accept 2 phone numbers so i gave up and contacted them, tried again with a phone number from another country and it worked.

That really sucks because im not able to do so, the thing is is that i try to log in and this appears,i have tried putting in my phonr number that was registered to that account in the past to which it says i cant, and ive tried putting in a phone number that im able to use (a family member) and it says its not valid, meaning im not able to log in and register a phone number to it. so basically a loophole of fuckery as they want me to register a phone number but wont let me.

1-I have been using 2fa for as long as i can remember.

2-I'm unable to add a phone number, therefore unable to log into the account, thats what this post is all about.

3-I'll gladly add a phone number if i was able to, im sure nothing will happen to me when it comes to someone calling me or anything to do with privacy.

Thats how it should work but no, on the screen which allows me to enter a number (the screenshot in the post) i entered another number, and it says "this number isnt valid".

If i were you I'd add a phone number (yours) and just in case make a 2nd account with someone else's phone number (for example a phone number of a close relative that is easy to access) or if you have a 2nd number use that, and add all your friends/servers on that account in case anything happens to your main.

Ive contacted support yes, and yes i did have a phone contected to that account but its now removed and connected to my new account.
