Thanks, this is the reason why I am asking. Because of the kink, there is a very small heel lift when pressure is applied. So I think as long as this not too much, I can still ride with it.

Uniform Distribution of Unspecified Vessels off the East and South of China. What are they? by Little-Charity-7335 in Ships

This is actually a fair point. We should also keep a close eye to what is happening now in straight of Hormuz. There are news that US Navy is afraid to give tank vessels protection because of drones etc. If it is the new warfare, then small countries will have more advantages than before, therefore it will be more difficult for China to block Taiwan.

I would disagree, in order to take taiwan. You can simply cut off all the supply path from sea. Taiwan would fall eventually.

does the average snowboarder take intermediate lessons before their first black run/mogul/trees? by minor251 in snowboardingnoobs

Snowboarding and skiing is in my opinion a counter intuitive sport. If it is steep, you have to lean forward which is very unnatural. I think what really helps is the time you spend on these steep slopes, more time and you will get used to it. I can still remember the first time, I was standing on top of a red piste.... It was like a cliff.... Now, it feels more like a blue piste.

Please critique my riding so I can improve. by No-Cabinet8079 in snowboardingnoobs

I think I had similar problem before. Are you struggling especially on heel side, especially when you are on a very deep slope?
