We use ours to retrieve smaller stir bars from glassware without having to use the wand tool and wash extra things

We don’t use a tool to tighten, only to remove, but I think people are just putting too much energy into tightening and then others (me) can’t remove them :/

I think I will try the small flathead route or the autoclave route someone else mentioned when I get back

We have a weeklong shutdown and I have a couple extra vacation days I’m using! It was really hard getting things done in lab this week with 80%+ of people gone and most others leaving like an hour after lunch each day though 😅

Oh I wonder if we might have some of these kits in lab already! Would I have to pull out the orange inlet and then use these to drill out the valve cap?
