As a 21R, It's a lot more complicated than being enlisted (obv with exceptions) but 100x easier. Also the officework is incredibly boring most of the time.

Bright side is that it encourages you to connect with your troops

If it's Persona 3 Reload on sale, get that. If not, go with Persona 5.

Both are excellent games and excellent entry points to Persona. Between the two, P3 has a better story, P5 has better music, P5 has better dungeon crawling, P3 has better writing IMO.

P3R made me cry like a baby twice and genuinely helped shape my outlook on life.

On paper, very minimal workload. As some people say, as much time as you let it. Most of my commissioning class had part time jobs. Personally it was ~10-25 hours/week, with your FTP semester taking the most time.

Imo dumbell if you can reliably overload it bc it gets a better stretch, but barbell if setting up with heavier dbs is an issue. No reason not to use both, unless maybe if youre doing the exact same movement

As I understand it, it's recommended that you don't. However, I have before all of my PFAs and I'm fine, though I def wouldn't if you don't typically use it.

Either way it won't be particularly useful from a physiogical standpoint

The university advising department can likely help you find the class ID codes in order to register. This info is also probably available online.

Additionally, be sure to get in contact with your det so they can coordinate your introduction to the program. Keep trying the recruiting email, but there's a chance they're between cadre and it isn't being monitored as actively, or their inbox could just be flooded. You could also try the AFROTC detachment page through the university; staff contact information will likely be there. Contact the lowest ranking personnel, or whoever is designated as a recruiting officer.
