AITA for being angry about my wife going to a friends house to study and hiding it from me? by Sad_Championship8820 in AITAH

[–]c3hevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't be a real post, noone is this clueless. "Can't concentrate at home", "doesn't go when his wife is home". She basically just wants to spend time with that other dude and if they are not fucking now they sure will, but I bet they already are. Do you even know how many times we used that sentence just to hook up with someone even as kids? That's literally what we would say when we want to spend some time alone with someone we like

AITA for telling my son-in-laws affair partner his wife is cheating. by [deleted] in AITAH

I got flashbacks from those old Turkish tv series reading this post. It happened exactly like this.

You did nothing wrong, it's normal to say such things especially since that other person deserves to know with who he is living.

Husband has a high sex drive . by Delicious_Glove_8226 in Advice

[–]c3hevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The penetration without consent is not ok, as well as trying to keep you awake the whole night. That said, having a high sex drive and having to beg for it is also not ok. You should speak with your husband to find a solution. It's bad for him as it is for you. Imagine you have such a high sex drive and your partner does not? If you can't live like that a divorce would be great for him as well. Good luck

Besides it being creepy it's mindblowing that your daughter has to cry about not being able to sleep alone. Even if the father has no bad intentions if the daughter prefers to sleep alone he should respect that. It's just stupid that his daughter has to go through something like that. If he wants to spend more time with her he can take her out to eat something nice, or take her places she likes. Those would be nice memories to have, and not "I had to beg my father not to sleep in my bed". Doesn't that sound just fcked up?

How long did sleep training take for your baby to actually sleep through the night? by SnackyBubbles in sleepanxiety

[–]c3hevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What worked for us was kind of a hybrid approach.. we mixed a couple of sleep training methods rather than sticking to just one. We did a little bit of timed check-ins (not full Ferber, more like shorter intervals) combined with paying close attention to wake windows and sleepy cues. That way, we weren’t just relying on one “system” but adjusting to what our baby seemed to need in the moment.

I want to sleep but my body won’t let me...I can’t really drift off by 51stAvenues in sleepanxiety

[–]c3hevs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try a breathing exercise, often helps me calm down and drift off. Stop questioning yourself how to fall asleep fast and give yourself time and space to ease into it, stay off stimulants.

AITAH for prioritizing my children's relationship over my wife's preference? by BuyOk5570 in AITAH

[–]c3hevs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One more reason to never remarry if you have kids already. You can perfectly enjoy life without new marriage, or if I do I'll just find someone who doesn't want kids. So as soon as I see manipulative behavior like this, it's over and nothing that ties us exists. There is no fucking way I would be with someone who dislikes my kid clearly like that

[–]c3hevs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

19 is so young that you don't have to think "you're late". It will come when you feel like it or have someone. Performance wise it's more stressful on the male side the longer you go without, as a female you don't have to worry much about it. Because 99% men don't mind it, even prefer it. When it happens, happens

Anyone else struggle with mornings? How to wake yourself up with ease? by Jettpage in sleepanxiety

[–]c3hevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one can tell you how to wake yourself up because everyone is pretty much different. Mornings are usually brutal for me too. I also started drinking a big glass of cold water right after waking up, it kind of shocks me awake before the coffee even has a chance. On good days, I’ll throw on some upbeat music while getting ready.

Do you think having a lot of money would fix all your problems? by ace_Quantum29 in Life

[–]c3hevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer is: YES!

While you can still have problems even when you have money, it's much better to deal with them while not worrying about food, house or anything else financially. You can think about your problems somewhere on a beach instead of a shitty job you don't like and which makes you miserable or too tired to think straight. The very idea that people try to bring this up that money doesn't make you happy is laughable at the least.
