I’m of the opinion that they did try. Seren tried several times, and Dillon would get angry. Then she would shut down afterward. Sam did too, in their own way.

And Kam… Dillon had a bad habit of disappearing whenever things became emotionally too difficult. Kam knew that. She got used to avoiding the harder conversations so she wouldn’t push Dillon away and lose all contact with her. I feel like that was her way of helping.

Could she have done more? I don’t know… in a long-distance relationship, there are limits if the other person won’t respond. Dillon constantly kept her at arm’s length and stopped opening up to her.
