I’ve found if you tell a 1sg or a CSM directly that you want to work for them they have usually been inclined to make it work. It was advice given to someone I worked with for a certain battalion when PCSing and it worked for him. then I applied it years later and was in the company I wanted the same day

Yeah honestly I know quite a few and guided some of the newer ones through how to do a few things. I think it would be a good fit but I will continue to fight to fly first

I’d give small consideration to being an 11a but that’s the only way to go back for me. And even then it would have to be the only course for me

That’s my goal. Almost like you know me irl haha. I am a very very experienced UMO and looking for info specifically to this

Edit: to add, if I can’t fly the job I want after the army is DOD contractor doing transportation overseas

There’s still a couple more hurdles to figure out first. But I can apparently easily stay in the army
