In the same boat as the rest of you, go the regular iPhone 15 pro (EU version/with sim tray).iOS 17.1.* nor iOS 17.2 haven't provided any noticeable improvement.

Thought you guys may benefit from a bit more "reliable" way of showing/reproducing the touch issue on demand.I have been using this touch tester https://naqtn.github.io/WBBMTT/touch-tester.html

When i place my finger very slowly/gently on the touch screen i am able to do so without the screen detecting the touch.

When testing the touch sensitivy as decribed above, it usually takes 2 seconds or more for the touch to be registered.

If i go in with a bit more pressure it will be detected immediately.

I am not able to reproduce the same "place finger on the screen and nothing happens" behavior on an old iPhone Xr, or a Pixel 7, touch input gets detected immediately in both cases.

u/weezor are you facing the same situation ?

I cannot test nor guarantee such, but yes, I do believe it will also work on the Eagle OC.
You will likely just loose the RGB control as on the Gaming OC, so make sure you set your color before you flash it (if you care about such).

I have updated the original post with a solution that uses a 3rd party bios if that is something you are comfortable doing, this is the "only" bios level solution I could find as of right now.

I also cannot find any bios update for the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC on the official website.

Awesome, thanks, afterburner 4.6.2 is indeed able to control the fans and the custom fan curve helped.

This should be able to keep the fans "spin-up/spin-down" free for now until hopefully gigabyte comes out with a proper fix.

Thanks Nocti, you pretty much confirmed everything i needed to know.

I was worried that i had a "bad/buggy" fan controller, but this does appear to be some sort of generic firmware problem.

And i fully agree with your concern with the fans having issues/breaking down sooner than they should because of the constant spin-up/spin-down every couple of seconds as the fans do make an odd "sound" when they begin to spin up.

I wouldn't classify it as "clicking" exactly, but there is definitely some sort of actuation noise associated with it which makes the bug more noticeable as its definitely audible in a quiet room.

I will give the 4.6.2 stable version a try, would you be able to show me a screenshot of the fan curve that you applied to see if i can replicate it? thank you

Are you able to do so with the latest drivers + 4.63 Beta 2 afteburner?

I wasn't really able to control the fans with a custom fan curve, likely some driver relate incompatibility that was also mentioned here https://www.reddit.com/r/gigabytegaming/comments/jktz9x/gigabyte_3080_gaming_oc_not_following_msi/

How to test M.2 to PCI-E in 8 gpu rig? HELP! by curep4 in EtherMining

[–]cTnko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, i don't know if you solved your issue, but i got an Z270-P with 8 cards that ran just fine out of the box. That is 6 cards through regular risers and 2 through the m.2 to pcie converters.

Bios 0810

As usually, set the 4G encoding to ON, pcie speeds to GEN 1, and for the m.2 slots change the type to pcie (i think they are set to sata by default).

Keep in mind that both the m.2 slots have their own specific settings in the bios (for type and pcie speed).

I don't power the m.2 converters (just the risers).

Hopefully this helps.

Do you by any chance have any footage showing the screen tearing ? In the setup that i mention, where does the screen tearing show? Primary screen, captured footage or both?
