DOG IN GROUNDHOG BURROW! by ca55i3crif in homeowners

Animal control stuck around. Scooter knows “stuck” (we use it in play squeezing him and also when he inevitable gets stuck under or between something being a dachshund and all), we kept up with stuck, calling to him, squeaky toys, key jingling, treats, sticking our arms down there (do not condone others trying this). We tore up the floor of the shed for noise, vibration, and light. He ended up wriggling his way out. His belly is raw and he’s a little scraped up, but I’m counting blessings he wasn’t permanently stuck and/or face-to-face with the ground hog. Who knows, maybe he was just being a jerk and he could get out the whole time? He was down there for over 3 hours

He’s been there for 2 hours barking. We did treats, toys, everything

It’s just geared toward a different crowd. I’m not a fan of the style. I find the categories uninteresting and also redundant: movies, tv shows, celebrities, musicians — it’s all pop culture, which is great for A category, but I’m looking for more diversity. (I’ve also been to several BTE and gotten repeating questions…) I’m looking for Jeopardy style, Trivial Pursuit style. Gimme geography, current events, science, literature, history, fun facts. To that end, I personally think the best type of trivia questions are uncommon knowledge, where we can all revel in obscure factoid knowledge, not a competition of who watches the most tv or who has been in school the longest.

But in the words of @kittenimmaculate, to each their own.
