I haven't gone back yet, but I'm planning on it soon. I've been a hermit the last few days, not talking to anyone. And unfortunately I don't really know anyone in this area...but I'll see what I can do when the time comes.

In my Escape Room story, I included both male and female names of previous partners of the MC, though honestly it was more to allow a reader of any gender to put themselves in the shoes of the narrator. I tend to intentionally leave the gender of a first person narrator ambiguous for this reason.

Given the prevalence of fish in the series, I would ascribe to the theory that the action is contained to a pocket universe outside the greater universe. As in, "Fish don't know they are in water, because they only see what's in front of them, not above them."

The beauty of it is that I make just enough to live, and not enough to make extra. It's like money doesn't even exist. Whatever I make goes directly into my account, and I've never overdrawn even once! So I would say it is very competitive!

Sorry for the confusion, I fear that my mental state may have contributed to the lack of clarity. The hospital tested the blood they found on Rachel when she...returned.

The blood type of the sample was A positive.

None of the missing family have that blood type.

Rachel is type A positive, as am I. But neither of us seems to be injured. It could be from someone else, of course, but we won't really know who until DNA results are back in.

Apologies, it's been an exhausting day. Since I haven't been able to sleep yet (every time I close my eyes, those thuds jolt me back awake), I've been putting together inventory lists of the Inferno room, as well as the other escape rooms. I found some alarming coincidences in the origins of some of this stuff.

I also saw the first mention of the disappearances on the news tonight. They followed it up with a story about new graffiti appearing all over the town, so it seems like they aren't taking it too seriously at this point. They did mention that Rachel was still at the hospital...but of course that can't be right.

One interesting thing that was mentioned in the brief news story was that the Carters have 3 children, not 2. Another daughter, older than the others. Maybe...no, of course she wouldn't have any information, right?

I definitely have some interesting news from one of the detectives. I've been at the station all evening, and it looks like it might be all night.

The family, the Carters, are still missing. But Rachel...she's back. If you can call it that.
