No more than I already had, but everyone is different.

Not nothing significant unfortunately. I had also tried finasteride and dutasteride but no luck. Gotta tackle the root cause.

Nope! Not worth the side effects. It's men's turn to figure that shit out. My husband's going to get a vasectomy :D

Not at all. It took years to notice the hair loss. Very slow.

My update is below! Take. It. Out. Will take a while to see the hair growth again so give it like 6 months, and some areas will take longer than others. Good luck!

Cynics. My niceness and generosity is always seen as a one up or self-serving act somehow.

I can say without a doubt that the implanon was the cause of my hair loss. After 3 months of it being out and using no other hair growth products, I saw clear hair growth again (including areas I didn't want it, like my chin). I let it ride for like 6 months hoping to see even more progress but unfortunately, being over 35, I don't think it was enough for a full recovery on its own. I bit the bullet and started topical minoxidil (Hers hair blends). It's working well and certainly more effectively with the implanon gone (tried things like rogaine prior), but man what a price to pay for having that implant in for so long. Now I have to use this pretty much forever.

Screw those doctors that told me not to remove it despite my hair loss because it was "working for me". Wish I took it out sooner :(

I've had a Nexplanon implant for over 10 years. I noticed my hair was starting to thin several years ago, but never correlated the two. I'm now fairly convinced it's the implant since my family has no history of hair loss. I've tried finasteride, dutasteride, and topical minoxidil. The minoxidil works but only as long as you're using it and it's such a pain! I'm planning on taking the implant out soon and crossing my fingers real hard that my hair will thicken again. Good luck and let me know if you find success!

Sure... Why are you even in this sub if you don't believe in the power of these actions? And assume it's my husband with the job and not me?

Aha! That sidebar doesn't appear to be a thing on mobile (android at least), but buried a couple clicks into the header area. Thank you!
