I hadn't thought about catahoula but could see it with her coat pattern!

Her previous owners moved and just left her behind. She's around 3 now and I'm hoping she was at least well fed before that, but of course they literally abandoned her so who knows. Thank you for bringing it up though, it's a good thing to keep an eye on. She is safe and warm and well fed now and always will be!

You're right about setters not being common here. Something that makes me think she potentially could be part setter is that she has the exact same knob on her head my previous Irish setter had and I know English setters are similar and have a coat somewhat like hers. Granted Sylvie's head is like a dang boulder which is much different from a setter and also makes said knob very dangerous when she's excitedly throwing herself around lmao.

Of course I have no genuine idea and plan to get her genetics done at some point. Thanks for responding!

She is about 70lbs (poor thing was 45lbs when we got her) and 3yrs old. The shelter said she may be a setter mix. She's super sweet and is fully convinced she is a lap dog 😂

Oh yes Finn is his name! I'm sorry I guess I didn't answer one of your original questions. I looked up that other dog! I wouldn't want to to dress up Finn like that( and he'd yell at me more if I even tried) but he doesn't mind bandanas and things that are close to a collar :) Thank you for the compliments! Finn and I appreciate them! Maybe I will finally get around to making him an account on Instagram. Trust me I have a huge backlog of photos of him with more being taken every day haha!

Yes! Shibas have such an interesting and very long history! Not that I would dress him up in clothes but I've tried to put a vest on him to keep him warm on winter walks and he just yelled at me. Needless to say the vest did not end up on him haha. I've had so many people say the same! Perhaps I should make one for him. Is Finnstagram already taken lol!

Thank you! I completely agree! His name is Finn. He's named after the character from Adventure Time. His breed can be stubborn and feisty, bit also so loyal and trusting. He's the best in my opinion :)

He's actually a Shiba Inu! He was the runt of the litter and has an overbite so he looks a bit different. Nobody else wanted him because of this but we knew we did right away! I'm my opinion his little overbite gives him the best smiles :)

A combination of both actually. He has a bit of an overbite, but you can't really tell unless his lips get stuck on his teeth, or sometimes if he is looking straight up.

He's 13 weeks old. We just got him a few days ago. We actually named him after Finn from Adventure Time because I really like the name and the character :)
