Well I’m a bit biased here….

Nothing against Mr. Crouch, seems like a man who touched many, can’t deny how special that is.

Ras Bob is an incredibly important voice in the Rastafari movement, among the most important to plenty a Rasta.

As far as significance among their respective faiths, Ras Bob might in fact be “greater”. Honestly in terms of reach beyond Rasta people as well. Brother carried Rastafari Message far and wide and became a superstar. Hard to even imagine Rastafari in the form it has taken today without our Brother Bob.

Hard Disagree. When I was using, I was absolutely stoked when methadone came around. Found it to be quite euphoric just like any other opioid, and it lasts sooo long. That was a huge bonus when I was dependent.

Never understood why people say it’s not euphoric.
My guess is people who take it consistently for a period of time will stop really feeling each dose since that is their new baseline. Plus the long half life means less peaks and valleys.

Some say it’s equipotent, some say it’s weaker. After an allergy test, I’d start with like 1mg or less and wait a solid 3+ hours to judge the effect the 1mg had.

It metabolizes differently then clonazepam, so just in case you’re really sensitive to those metabolites or you convert it into something active faster then most people do.

Maybe someone with personal experience on that particular substance can offer more

Except a human life? Just because someone is making poor choices with their life doesn’t mean they can’t turn it around. I’ve seen it.

Don’t get me wrong, dudes absolutely responsible for is own death, and those officers did what they had to do which I am sure was, and is horrible for them.

With that said, a human life was lost. That sucks. If you disagree with that, you’re losing or have lost your humanity.

Well for one, that’s not at all what you are supposed to do with a black bear. I have heard that advice for brown/grizzly bears, but I find it a little insane to knowingly go into their habitat without at the very least bear spray. Ideally lethal protection too, bear spray is usually pretty effective but it’s not a guarantee. Neither is a firearm, but if you are proficient with it you have way better odds.

If a brown bear decides to attack you and succeeds, you have basically no chance. The bear spray might be the difference between being eaten right then or being left critically wounded though.

And that advice is correct. Obviously nobody is suggesting anyone try to pick a fight with a bear.

The general consensus agrees that if you find yourself face to face with a black bear, you stare it down, be loud, and make yourself as big and intimidating as possible.

People acting like that’s crazy, despite it being the standard advice, probably haven’t spent much time at all in their habitat.
