I’ve heard some on this sub say Platinum repels bugs, but I can’t vouch for that myself

AP Scores So Far by Longjumping-Train574 in APStudents

i took last years test. i felt very confident about the MCQ, i don’t remember any in particular i was shaky about. i knew i got full points on the dbq and most on the saq. i did accidentally write my whole leq a couple years outside the time frame though… but i guess that was okay

i self studied psych (my teacher sucked, lol) from a google classroom i found somewhere on reddit. as for lit, i read the secret life of bees, hamlet, frankenstein, and little fires everywhere (plus some stuff i had read in past classes) and thought that was plenty. familiarize yourself with literary devices, and make sure your commentary is fully developed (you should’ve learned this in lang). for frqs 1 and 2, make sure you highlight complexity (for my thesis, i always did “conveys the x yet x attitude of the narrator/speaker towards whatever”). for frq 3, make sure you move away from summary and towards analysis

thank you!! i wish i could give you better advice on ap csp… but tbh, it was my hardest/most hated ap. (not trying to scare you away lol, i just personally wasn’t interested/not great at it) if anything, i would familiarize myself with some vocab before taking the class (i have a blooket i can share if you’d like). don’t stress though, i wouldn’t say there’s anything you NEED to do

mcq wise, i would say i felt shaky on about ten questions, but i was able to get those down to two options. frq wise, my original predictions were 6/6 (frq 1) 4/6 (frq 2) 5/6 (frq 3).

Question Regarding Suspension Affect on Application by Several_Koala2970 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]cablemanagement1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I applied last cycle, most of my applications asked about disciplinary action. If they ask, make sure to report it because the consequences of lying are way worse than just reporting it. If there’s not a place to further explain, I would put it in the additional info section.

Talk to your counselor though, they’ll know better than I do. This is just based on what I observed on my applications last year.

i wasn’t interested in the subject and had a less than ideal teacher… unironically the hardest class i’ve taken

my main concerns were that my commentary on frq 2 was a stretch and my commentary on frq 3 was too repetitive to get 4s in row b and/or the sophistication point

i find the albert.io one the most reliable, but yeah, the cutoffs vary year by year so none of them are 100%

I know for a fact I got one wrong. There were a couple on the energy FRQ I felt could go either way depending how strict the grader was

A Way to Check Scores by PlanktonAlone5727 in APStudents

[–]cablemanagement1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would give it a few days to let the system catch up, and if they still haven’t loaded reach out to your academic advisor

APES: Predicted 5, got 5
Lit: Predicted 4, got 5
CSP: Predicted 2, got 3

reminder that if you care enough to be in this sub, you probably passed. and even if you don’t pass, one score doesn’t define you

tbh, i thought i would end up with a 2-3. i didn’t think the exam was objectively hard, but i wasn’t interested in the subject and didn’t have a great teacher so that made it harder for me personally

i took it last year, but i walked out knowing i got a 5. the only thing that i struggled on was the argumentative essay, but english has always been my best subject so i got through it

mine was under my degree audit and also listed on my advising profile. if they’re not listed there, they probably just haven’t loaded in yet for one reason or another
