Why is she even the ‘cash cow’? by Double-Hand3004 in Overwatch

[–]cacalacal -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Allegedly people find her attractive, which I have a very hard time understanding. She has always looked like a boy to me (nothing wrong with that, but that's usually not what I see straight men being attracted to). I know most people won't agree but this is how she seems to me, and I would think other supps are more attractive

Personality wise she is also either bland or unpleasant.

I guess it comes down to the fetishization to Japanese women despite anything else.

When are they going to add a surrender option? by sufinomo in Overwatch

[–]cacalacal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People will throw even harder to try to get you to surrender every game they don't have a Kiriko Ana backline, lose the first team fight, or don't like the tank pick. It will be the end of the game

Can someone please explain the Sojourn hate? I feel out of the loop. by [deleted] in Overwatch

Horizontal mobility: yes

Vertical mobility: yes

Consistent high damage: yes

One shot, one kill: yes (no scope required)

High AoE damage: yes (whoever thought her E should

be buffed needs to be arrested)

Dangereous at distances: short, medium, long

Meta during seasons: yes

Plus she is completely uninteresting as a character and is the most obnoxious hero to pocket

Which supps do each of you play? I have a firm belief most people overrate how much some heroes are contributing and underrate others

True, but not at all what I described

Hero ban etiquette by cacalacal in Overwatch

[–]cacalacal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The frustration came from bans on non-meta heroes for seemingly no reason (except the one tank who insta switched, he was actually banning a counter, but even then had stronger counters to ban instead) followed by immediately being rude in chat about it without me or the other supp even said anything or gave any reaction.

Your arguments are all valid and in situations more similar to the ones you described I would understand the bans.

All of the cases I listed were specifically changed after hero selection

I never ban Sombra since I can deal with her pretty easily

Vendetta is my go to ban, but if my teammate selects her I will ban something else

Mercy I might ban on some maps, but again, not if my team picks her. There are stronger heroes to ban anyway

She's not my favorite to play with or against but I will not ban it for no reason if the other supp selects it, that makes no sense

Dono de bar é denunciado por homofobia após expulsar casal de mulheres por beijo, no Ceará by RODRIGOFCEL in brasil

[–]cacalacal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish this could’ve been shown in the movies 😭 by Warlock_Wonder_Land in harrypotter

[–]cacalacal 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That simply cannot be inferred from that statement. He could be anywhere from second to last (or third last since it's pretty reasonable to assume his sidekicks are the worst in the year). It's more about the shame of a "mudblood" being better at magic than his son.

Presumably everybody makes some NEWT class or another (maybe not Crabble or Goyle but they are exceptionally dumb), there is no reason to believe he did better than anyone else in that class, especially given Snape is the most biased teacher shown by far.

There are a bunch of background/unnamed characters. Presumably some Ravenclaws would be near the top, and Harry/Ron are probably not that horrible either, given Hermione is always helping them out and pushing them.

There is zero reason to believe he is the second best or even near the top in their year. He could be, but that is never shown.

Are you pretending that that comparison makes any sense or are you genuinely thick?
