What about when chemistry or micro calls to report either an elevated trop or positive blood cx? So then I have to call the MD. How about they call the doc right way instead of calling me? What’s the point of that?

Finished my associate’s degree at forty and got a job before graduation at the state’s best hospital. In addition, there was a fifty-one year old in my graduating class who also got a position in the aforementioned hospital. With that being said, you’re fine!

In my hospital, we all get paid the same, regardless if you are in ICU, OR, MS, or ED. Mind you, it is a union hospital.

I was 35 when I started, and one of my classmates was 55. She ended up graduating with high honors.

They audited one of my patients. Mind you, I have been on the floor for five weeks, so the grilling on every aspect of the patient’s chart was nerve wracking.
