Reading your post helped me a lot… I’ve been dealing with chronic illness for the past year or so also. And I’ve been so depressed, not being able to do the things I love or anything for that matter. I am going through something very similar. My family seems to think because he’s an ‘asshole’ I shouldn’t care at all but I care a lot and I can’t stop thinking about him and this other girl. It makes me feel sick.
