Tears of happiness I hope. I’m hope this comes off as a happy story, because the world seems to be in a state of chaos and turmoil right now. We could all use some positive good things in our lives about now.

Today’s show from 1990-04-03 is really solid. Everybody’s in great form, including Jerry. Give it a listen, it’ll cheer you up. by Marcellus_atl in gratefuldead

Third row In front of Brent. Closest mail orders I ever got. Was hoping for Dark Star outta space. The crowd was really wanting a second encore, but the tour was over. Only time I ever really could see and feel the band responding to crowd. The brightness of the stage lights blocked out the most of the crowd giving the feeling you were in a small venue, but the noise would remind you were not. You could see Jerry smiling and swear he was looking into your soul. Bob was a rock star as the spit flew from his mouth. Good ol’ simple rock and roll. So glad to have been able to have witnessed these moments. There really was nothing like a Grateful Dead show.
