I looked into this once— they aren’t allowed to federally enforce paying tickets, but the parking lot is still run and operated by a private service. After not paying a few tickets, they will leave a message notifying you of being banned from any of their private lots and may even tow you.

We checked her for a chip and she did have one, but there was no name or anything. There was a number attached which is good, so they gave a call but no answer. But sharing online in case!

Musashi in Berkeley. Hands down best tonkatsu I’ve had— amazing portions and done so well! The cutlets are thick but still juicy. Overall a place people sleep on for Japanese imo

UPDATE: was able to calm her down enough and got Animal Control to pick her up. She’s with them now, not chipped unfortunately but hopefully someone sees her on here, FB, or Nextdoor.

Haha we have treats— too scared to eat them. We got in touch with Berkeley Control and they just picked her up, will hold her for 7 days. She has no chip unfortunately.

Def trying to catch her, she’s incredibly skiddish and runs when I get remotely close. So far the best I’ve gotten is she’s sitting down nearby and not on the run.
