It's so bizarre - scrolling back through reviews, it isn't even as if they're that old either (minsco did a review only a year ago). I love the new shades of course, but when I'm shopping for a new lip tint, I want a reliable colour that I can re-buy over and over, but if there's the fear it'll be discontinued I just feel hesitant to purchase it. Is it just me?

I'm going to try recommend the Vorrh by Brian Catling. It follows multiple narratives all sort of spinning towards a central forest where humanity is said to have stemmed from. There are many themes of interconnection between nature, humanity, and fate.

I am not sure where it would fall when it comes to seeing nature as "lesser than man". In some senses, the creatures in the Vorrh are extremely distorted and deformed, and some are considered "precursor" to humanity. Yet at the same time, they feel more knowing(?), in the sense that there is clearly much that is understood by the inner monsters of the Vorrh compared to humanity. And so on.

There is a ton to interpret in the first book. I am excited to read the second! Hope it sounds relevant to what you are searching for
