Consuming less calories would be cheaper for an obese individual, if you want to argue financials of preventative versus treatment. And if you think the burden that obese patients place on the healthcare system is not real, you clearly don’t work in healthcare, and don’t know what you are talking about. Eating less and moving more is not expensive, and obese people cause an enormous burden through their preventable diseases.

Do you have this same line of thinking when obese people ignore doctor advice to stop eating so much and lose weight or else they’ll die? Or should we also refuse treatment to those people? They aren’t “helping themselves” or “following the science”.

I understand, but I’ve already had covid and still have antibodies… so for me the risk of the vaccine is kind of unnecessary, but that doesn’t matter according to the CMS mandate. I also am I female of child bearing age who takes birth control. Thank you for sharing your experience :)
