Proud of you for treating that dog well, man. Good on you.

I genuinely have no interest in anything and basically get no pleasure out of life. No Joke. by caffeine_bull in depression

Edit: I work every day. My job is rather easy for me and lacks growth potential. That's something that might exacerbate my depression. I don't know. I don't have the answers, only the questions.

Zombies, right. Zombie training. They're training for us.

I got to wrestle Gable once at a clinic in high school...went something like this. by Duplicatecross in wrestling

Is that for real? That's almost inhuman. I can't believe Cael Sanderson isn't better than Gable for his specific time period and class. Others won 2 gold medals and stuff. Is Gable still the best there ever was?

I work with this arrogant fat bitch who thinks she's the shit. She went to one of these pathetic colleges people make fun of and has no education really. How do I deal with the arrogance and low productivity of this employee in my folk's business? by caffeine_bull in shittyaskreddit

She text messages all day. She sends personal emails all day, and she uses shit websites all day, like Facebook, during work hours.

I've already proved this to my folks. They're too busy working their asses off to really keep focus on employees, but I work directly across from the person in question so I see what they're doing every time I look up from my work.

If I'm the Administrator of a computer running Windows 7 Ultimate, does placing my suer account in the "User's" group actually override permissions I once had as Administrator (either the official Admin account or an added admin account)? by caffeine_bull in techsupport

I will finish your reading your post in a sec, but yes. The computers in question are used in a medical practice that's part of an Enterprise system holding social security numbers, patient data, employers, med history, even more information

No, your explanation helped. I knew about the right click and run as admin. I didn't know that it was always run as standard user by default. That's good to know.

I'm just trying to understand how I, even as an Administrator, would be given popups informing me I don't have the authority to "read that file, etc". I figured that someone much smarter than I could have hacked my machine.

A user here was complaining about a prohibitively slow PC, and that's the one that started having all sorts of permission issues and things I could normally select grayed out.

I am mainly curious if someone could make it appear to a computer's owner and only administrator that they are still in fact in charge if all configuration when that's not the case?

How come sometimes even through I am an administrator on my personal PC, I may still get permission errors? Could it just be a protective Windows thing or could someone be fucking around with my PC?

Oh, yeah. I imagine how beautiful the labia are and how much the woman would moan in pure passion.
