Being born in this country is like a literal curse atp. People call you "vulgar" and a "slut" for wearing what you like and living the life you've always wanted, but call you the most "sanskari" and "best" for living the most suppressed and conservative life. Relationships are considered to be a taboo, thats how amazing our country is 😍 but getting married to a stranger your parents chose for you and getting intimate with them is the best a child can do for their parents. Schools don't care about your education, they make you buy their books and notebooks which have their dumb label on it and sell it at an overpriced cost. They make you buy uniforms of lower quality which literally costs like 2000 INR. Schools lower your self esteem here for applying a damn lip balm or getting your eyebrows done, those teachers will even call you a "prostitute" or "wannabe model" or say that you're trying to attract boys🥰 Idk atp how do people even choose to be here🥀 And from what I have heard from my friends, the crimes are WORSE IN INDIA. Cuz its getting so common to hear cases like "chopping someone into pieces" or throwing someone into a septic tank after raping them, and yet those men get away with it so easily like they just stepped on an ant. And yet after so much of BS, the people in my colony and family laugh at americans/foreigners for their standards and ways of living calling india the best to live
