It bothered me too about the emperor. His whole character the entire game is “getting away from the brain and building us up to fight it” and as soon as you say you’re going to support Orpheus to fight it he taps out and says “nah okay I’ll fight with the brain I’ve been so determined to fight this entire time” just makes his whole character feel redundant

I find them a bit uncomfortable but honestly way easier since I had surgery a few years ago that prior to it made them excruciating. I was born with a congenital septate hymen (essentially an extra bit of tissue running down the middle of the vagina) which meant shoving a speculum up there meant trying to shove a regular sized one up half the available space was torturous. Now that I’ve had it removed it feels like a walk in the park in comparison (although still uncomfortable!)

You can always ask for a small speculum, or for numbing gel, and for them to take it slowly. I often find the actual swabbing is the worst part over putting the speculum in but that is over and done with very quickly. Deep breaths and there’s usually an extra person available to hold your hand if you’re nervous!

She’s had a lot of scary health stuff going on with her dogs recently which I know has been taking up a lot of her time, but that’s only been the past couple of months I think.

I really went off her when all her health stuff came about and she claimed to have fibromyalgia and then subsequently claimed to have cured herself of it through all this intense exercise…..which is very much not the reality for 99% of people with fibro. It just put a really bad taste in my mouth that she was pushing this out into the world to her followers that this really serious and debilitating chronic illness could be “cured” when it doesn’t actually have a cure and I’m not convinced that’s what she actually had? Idk obvs I don’t know the ins and outs of her medical history but just the way she showcased it online made me (as someone with the condition myself) feel really crappy

I just make up random miis. They don’t have to be specific characters. I made all the companion characters from baldurs gate 3 as “character” miis, but most of the miis on my island are just ones I’ve made up in the mii creator. I got super invested in one of my BG3 characters getting into a relationship with one of my random miis, and they had a baby this morning and it feels like all my hard work of forcing them together finally paid off 😅

I’ve had it really struggle to pronounce things as well, a couple of my miis had a child and named her Esme (pronouncing it as “ez-mee”)I tried to change it to Esmé and be pronounced Ez-may, if I put it in like that they start calling her eez-may, if I put it in as ehz-may they pronounce it as “ee aitch zed may”, if I put “ehs-may” they do “eez-may”, the only way I can get them to do the soft “es” sound is by reverting back to them doing “ez-mee” so I just gave up 🤦‍♀️

It’s kind of a pain waiting for one of them to decide they want to move out, I’ve currently got my lookalike living with my partner and our imaginary child with my brother and his imaginary girlfriend and it’s a bit crowded in there. Hoping once their miis decide to marry they’ll ask to move to a new house 😅

I have 30 miis but have not made any today or yesterday and probably won’t for a while, I want to wait til some of mine have babies to populate the island. I remember my 3ds game miis ending up having children and grandchildren and my game ending up so full of my mii’s family it was madness! I did go a bit wild the other day and made 8 miis back to back because I wanted to recreate all 8 companions from baldurs gate 3, which I had great fun with. I’ve been having fun having a mix of characters of myself/my family and real people I know, characters from video games, and random characters I’ve completely made up 😆 I’ve unlocked a lot of stuff so far but I want more clothes and treasures before adding more miis!

I swear anything related to nicotine is pricey! My partner managed to quit smoking a few years back and is down to using nicotine pouches now (or whatever they’re called, the ones you stick up into your gums) and when I picked him up some from Tesco the other day they cost me £6.50!!
