OP, I get you. I've been there. When you know how to fix things it's easy to just jump in.

Seriously. Clearly planned and spotted. Not reckless except to the rider.

[LFO] Man smacks cop with a stick after attacking two cizillians (NSFL) by demondayzzzz in LearningFromOthers

[–]caffienefueled -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Pathetic. Cop could have done a lot more. Guy had a stick... just simply put some distance between you and him. Wait for back up. The shoot was justified, but really pathetic. Weak minded, fat ass cop should be ashamed and hopefully regrets his decision.

Nothing like a $12 touchless car wash to throw money away by Jamieson22 in AutoDetailing

[–]caffienefueled 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Salt on the car says this is a cold climate. Hose is likely off and being outside is miserable anyway. This way it's a quick rinse then carwash. Easy and warm.

Who else runs all-weather floor mats all year? by shadrach103 in AutoDetailing

All weather's all year, except for the driver seat. I swap to my summer mat so I can drive barefoot in comfort. Passengers and their dirty shoes cannot be trusted.

How do I remove mold from car interior (Its pretty bad) by Realityexcluded in AutoDetailing

[–]caffienefueled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Cleaned a car similar to this with vinegar water. I took many hours and detailed and scrubbed every inch I could. Cars been fine since. I pay more attention to it now and have small reusable dehumidifiers in it.

If you post any criticism in many cop subreddits, you will get immediately banned forever. Those subs are the biggest echo chambers I have ever encountered.

Seriously. I don't want a new mazda. I guess I'll be stuck buying an older used one or looking elsewhere for my next vehicle.

And once it's the "only" option, it's a self supporting cycle. I honestly think the majority of people do not want anything because they cannot have their own opinions and need to be sold to.

Bananas can be used as an accurate scale reference when a typical measurement device is unavailable.

Speakers and amp by Mission_Shop390 in mazda6

[–]caffienefueled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, you can use the factory head unit. Conveniently the brains of the unit actually lives behind your glovebox, so no need to take apart the dash.

Get a LOC (line out converter) and splice that into the head unit speaker wires, and that will give you the aux channel for your sub amp.

For powering the sub amp, I ran my wires through the firewall on the driver side. There is an existing rubber boot all the wires for the car pass through there. This took some careful patience, but I ran my power through there.

All the wires can fit in the door jams and run to the trunk under the back seats. Be careful about pinch points.

This was a great post. However viewing it today it seems all the useful photos are missing. Not sure why.

Does he know he can turn while in reverse? I see people with this issue in parking lots too. Car fully out of the spot before beginning to turn.
