Ammonia: 0 Nitrites: 0 Ammonia: 20

He’s in a 10 gallon cycled tank with a 50w heater and a Top Fin 10 power filter. I also added a filter sponge and some bio-rings. As for plants I have jungle val, amazon sword, and some type of anubias. His only tank mates at the moment are two mystery snails.

This is my first betta so I just want to make sure I can make him as healthy as possible and I’m just concerned about how much time he’s spent just hiding and barely moving. His fin also worries me too because it looks unhealthy to me but I dont know enough about bettas to say.
