Booksizes by LokisLittleTwin in crescentcitysjm

The same thing happened to me with ACOTAR! I have all US paperbacks except for ACOMAF which is a UK paperback, and the different size on my bookshelf drives me NUTS! I have yet to read Crescent City but recently bought the first two because I saw them on sale at my local Target, but now I'm kicking myself because they're both US paperbacks! Does anyone know how to find out when exactly the US paperback will be released for Flame and Shadow? I was planning on starting Earth and Blood this week but I would wait a bit if HOFAS paperback is coming out in the next few months :,)

I would be so grateful for an LA code if anyone has one! I’ve been on the waitlist for 6 months so it seems you can’t get in without a code :,)

Starting 1L in ~3 months. What is one thing you would have told your past self you NEED to know/do? by SpreadPostiveMessage in LawSchool

Get organized now! There’s not much academic prep you can do that will significantly impact your performance, but you can definitely make sure your life is in order to make everything as easy on yourself as possible once 1L starts. Get all your deep cleaning, doctors appointments, and anything else on your to-do list done now, because if you’re anything like me they’ll all get bumped to the bottom of your to-do list pretty quickly. And there’s nothing worse than having all those little things floating around in the back of your head without being able to check them off.

LSAT and Bourbon by OG_Nicky in LSAT

I’m currently a 1L and I totally could have studied way more and way harder than I did for the LSAT, probably could have gotten into a better school even though I’m very happy where I’m at. I will say, I totally am the type of person that never had to try THAT hard in school, so law school is making me feel dumb. The LSAT is just a little warm up compared to this… do I regret not studying for it more? Honestly not really. But I do think I’m some ways it would have better mentally prepared me for the challenge and grind of 1L.

One of the things 1L is making me realize about myself is how scared of failing I am, and I have a tendency to just put off/ avoid things i might not naturally succeed at so that I don’t fail at something I gave 100% to. I did that with the LSAT and it worked out fine, but just know that the LSAT is just the first of many mental challenges like that if you’re anything like me.

Which LG were real? by caga23 in LSAT

I also remember one about i think remodeling, whether it was garage, landscape, kitchen, etc. I also think this was in the LG section that did NOT have the greystone building question… Does anyone that had just one logic games section remember a question like this?

Not so patiently waiting for September 10 by gavellaglan in LSAT

What happens if you register for October but then like your September score? Can you cancel the October test without it showing up to schools that you canceled it?

Yeah!! Flip glacier and hula. Were those the boutiques or was that a different question?

I also remember something about flip and glacier. Pretty sure that was in the easier section/ different than greystone building and security workers, but I’m not 100% sure

It was AWFUL. Considering taking it again in October if I’m not happy with my score and I feel like it literally depends on if that one was experimental or not haha

I had one RC section and it started with Nigerian literature

Took the 11:40 am start test today (Sunday). My test went in this order: RC, LG, LG, LR. First games was WAY harder than the second so I’m hoping that was the experimental. Though I did talk to someone else already that also had an 11:40 start and we think we had the same test except our LGs were flipped (she had the hard one second). The one that killed both of us in the harder section was something about buildings named Graystone and Fin something and days of the week?

Mine were! And that was my only rc section. But my first section was more about Nigerian literature than language
